Pssst... want to know a secret about me?

I know I'm different.
I know I'm weird.
In fact... I revel in it.

I'm a creative.
This is what we are.

Here's a peek into how my mind flows on a typical day... how I process and move through the good and the bad circumstances; along with a liberal dose of faith, prayer, acceptance, and forgiveness of myself and others thrown in for balanced measure.

Also my secret as to why I rest fully once I lay down; even when my body fights me with stress, injury, or fibromyalgia pain...

Some of my experiences (which I will explore and share more of as this blog evolves) have accumulated in some of these basic lessons learned....

1) Recognize that nothing in life is permanent nor entitled

(just ask my Ex)

2) Change and flow are the only real constants in life

(you've seen how the economy and the seasons work, right?)

3) Creating Beauty or Ugly is a choice in our lives... everyday.

4) You can say the unseen and the yet unknown are real or not real... doesn't change their existence

(ask God about that one)

5) Our imagination and the love we draw into our lives creates a safe place for us to share out from... always.

 6) Joy is not only possible; it is a pure choice... daily.

(ever watch a baby listen to music or dance?)

But, in order to live that joy part; regardless of circumstances, there is a very practical thing I do... daily. I choose to live consciously. All of it. Moment to moment, day by day.

I choose to filter and release all the junk; or otherwise not needed beliefs, experiences, and thoughts as they occur... moment by moment. It takes practice. It's not easy... though it sounds simple.

It requires that I act as not only participant, but also as observer in each part of my day as things happen and unfold. No judgement. Just act as an observer. Then clear it consciously; by accepting and releasing it as it occurs. The outcome being ...there's no junk left in my mind at the end on the day.

In discovering this a wonderful reward occurs; rather than my mind having to spend the night filtering the junk and build up of the days events, my mind is free to do far more interesting things in my dreams and I rest well. I mean really well. Whether it's for a few hours, or for one of those sleeps that leave you leaping into your day revived... the same thing occurs when my mind is free of junk. I create consciously.

By not being full of mental junk at bedtime, it allows me the gift of  my dream time being used for more interesting things. In fact my dream time becomes my play time... to explore, observe, travel, create and then also allows me to bring it back in my waking hours into my daily creative life.

In recognizing that living consciously allows my creative flow to happen; if I have dreams that appear that mirror my waking hours events than I know to use that as my indicator light that I need to pay attention mindfully and mendfully and return to conscious living. Consciously filtering and releasing the days events as they happen, so that my dream space is open to play in.

Huge stress reducer technique for me.
Try it....

The peace and rest factor reward is worth the effort.
